[ PIXEL VIKING ]

These are some photos I took of my niece Caroline at her confirmation. One photo was put through Magic Bullet Looks to test a number of 'looks'.

These photos are a mix of old and new but have been 'revamped' with a bit of Magic Bullet Looks / Photoshop.

Photos taken during my year in the USA 1994 where I worked as an au pair. These were all shot with my first camera - a Canon EOS 1000F SLR film camera. They were scanned on a cheap scanner and color graded with Magic Bullet Looks. Most photos are from a road trip through the Rocky Mountains in October. Others are from New England and the area around Virginia.

All these photos were shown on my old [ pixel viking ] photoblog that went live in 2006. The photoblog featured one new photo everyday for a year and then more sporadic for another 18 months. The photoblog was nominated for 'Best European Photoblog' in 2006 and made it into the 'Hall of Fame' at photoblogs.org in March 2007. The photos are mainly HDR photos (high dynamic range) created with the Photomatix software but there are also 'normal' photos that have been enhanced in Photoshop with a plug-in called LucisArt (along with other plug-ins).

Photos taken on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. The photos were taken with an iPhone 3GS and the Hipstamatic app. The camcorder shown in some of the photos was recording this movie.
