This is a great four episode series from 2007 about the Germanic Peoples at the time of the Roman Empire. All tribes north of the Roman Empire were called Germanic by the Romans.

Each episode is 50 minutes long and follows the story on one person.

Anybody with an interest in history should see this. It's not only very well made but also very well told and illustrated with computer graphics (anno 2007).

It's a German series that was adapted for American / English speaking audiences - so there is an English speaking narrator.
